H\u00e4r bedrivs undervisning f\u00f6r elever som beh\u00f6ver ett alternativ till den ordinarie grundskolan, med en milj\u00f6 som \u00e4r anpassad f\u00f6r att alla ska vara delaktiga och utvecklas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Det finns tio specialskolor i Sverige och de drivs av Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten. Skolorna sp\u00e4nner fr\u00e5n f\u00f6rskoleklass till och med tionde klass. M\u00e5lgruppen \u00e4r elever som \u00e4r d\u00f6va eller har h\u00f6rselneds\u00e4ttning med eller utan intellektuell funktionsneds\u00e4ttning, d\u00f6vblinda, elever med kombinerad syn- och h\u00f6rselneds\u00e4ttning samt elever med grav spr\u00e5kst\u00f6rning. En n\u00e4mnd avg\u00f6r vilka elever som antas till skolorna och s\u00f6ktrycket \u00e4r h\u00f6gt.<br>\u2013 Undervisningen \u00e4r helt anpassad efter eleverna s\u00e5 att de kan vara delaktiga i sin skolg\u00e5ng. Vi har sm\u00e5 grupper och personal med djup kompetens inom v\u00e5ra omr\u00e5den, exempelvis tv\u00e5spr\u00e5kig undervisning till elever som \u00e4r d\u00f6va eller har h\u00f6rselneds\u00e4ttning, s\u00e4ger Per Ekstr\u00f6m, verksamhetsomr\u00e5deschef f\u00f6r specialskolan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8221;Det \u00e4r en unik arbetsplats, d\u00e4r l\u00e4rare och andra medarbetare f\u00e5r anv\u00e4nda hela sin professionella kompetens.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tillh\u00f6righet och kamrater<\/strong><br>Den sociala aspekten \u00e4r lika viktig som undervisningen. Flera av skolorna erbjuder boende, och s\u00e5v\u00e4l fritiden som skoldagen pr\u00e4glas av en kommunikativ milj\u00f6 utformad efter elevernas behov och f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningar.<br>\u2013 Det \u00e4r s\u00e5 viktigt att eleverna k\u00e4nner tillh\u00f6righet och utvecklar kamratrelationer, och i den ordinarie grundskolan kan det vara mycket sv\u00e5rt f\u00f6r dessa barn och ungdomar. De ska k\u00e4nna att framtiden sj\u00e4lvklart tillh\u00f6r \u00e4ven dem, s\u00e4ger Per Ekstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>F\u00f6rdjupad kompetens<\/strong><br>Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten \u00e4r en av Sveriges st\u00f6rsta arbetsgivare f\u00f6r l\u00e4rare och andra professioner med teckenspr\u00e5kskompetens. Medarbetarna har ofta \u00e4ven speciall\u00e4rarexamen eller annan f\u00f6rdjupning.<br>\u2013 Det \u00e4r en unik arbetsplats, d\u00e4r l\u00e4rare och andra medarbetare f\u00e5r anv\u00e4nda hela sin professionella kompetens. \u00c4ven internationellt r\u00f6ner specialskolorna uppm\u00e4rksamhet. Vi vill g\u00e4rna synligg\u00f6ra verksamheten f\u00f6r s\u00e5v\u00e4l v\u00e5rdnadshavare som l\u00e4rare. Vi s\u00f6ker kontinuerligt nya medarbetare, s\u00e4ger Per Ekstr\u00f6m.<br>Specialskolan arbetar n\u00e4ra flera intresseorganisationer som driver fr\u00e5gor av vikt f\u00f6r eleverna och deras familjer. En s\u00e5dan fr\u00e5ga och ett viktigt m\u00e5l \u00e4r att elever som vill ska f\u00e5 m\u00f6jlighet att forts\u00e4tta att utbilda sig, f\u00f6rklarar Per Ekstr\u00f6m:<br>\u2013 Ett gott kvitto p\u00e5 att specialskol\u00adorna lyckas i sitt uppdrag \u00e4r att m\u00e5nga av v\u00e5ra forna elever senare kommer tillbaka, men d\u00e5 i rollen som l\u00e4rare.
